Que Sera Sera-- "Will I be (never minding this)? Will I be rich?"

You may have heard this Doris Day's song-- Que Sera Sera:

Most of us probably have asked similar questions-- "Will I be handsome or pretty?" during our adolescence and "Will I be rich?" as we get older.

Today is your lucky day-- based on my 4-pillars readings in the past, I have found the "destiny DNA" or 4-pillars components of a "rich person".

Forget about the question of "handsome or pretty" as we have seen many instances of rich old or ugly men/ women paired with handsome/ pretty spouses.  But if there are enough interest in whether you will be handsome or pretty, I can write about it later.

Don't worry if you do not understand the terminology here.  You can simply read the appendix below to check if you have the destiny DNA mentioned in this post.

4-pillars charts with wealth elements likely will bring wealth to their daymasters (not absolute).  Charts with little or no wealth element will likely have more difficulties in attaining wealth. 

DESTINY DNA FOR VERY RICH PEOPLE
People with  "wealth-storage" element in their day-pillar have the best probability of becoming the very rich.  These are the daymasters "sitting" on "wealth-storage" elements.  People with wealth storage are able to keep (store) their wealth made without spending it away or being "snatched" by their friends.  The following day-pillars combinations can make and keep their wealth:

1. Wu-chen 戊辰 (earth dragon)
2. Ren-xu 壬戌 (water dog)
3. Ding-chou 丁丑 (fire ox)
4. Xin-wei  辛未 (metal ram) 

DESTINY DNA FOR RICH PEOPLE
People with  "wealth element" in their day-pillar have better chance of becoming rich.  These are the daymasters "sitting" on "wealth element".  People sitting on wealth element have higher probability of running into wealth-making opportunities.  The following day-pillars combinations are daymasters sitting on wealth elements:

1. Jia-chen 甲辰 (wood dragon)
2. Jia-xu 甲戌 (wood dog)
3. Bing-shen  丙申 (fire monkey)
4. Ding-you 丁酉 (fire rooster)
5. Wu-zi 戊子 (earth rat)
6. Ji-hai 已亥 (earth pig)
7. Geng-yin  庚寅 (metal tiger)
8. Xin-mao  辛卯 (metal rabbit) 
9. Ren-Wu 壬午 (water horse)
10. Gui-si  癸巳 (water snake)

If your day-pillar is one of the 14 pillars listed above, you stand a better chance of making it rich than people without this pillar.  Of course, you also need to check the combinations of other pillars in your 4-pillars chart to reach a more affirmation conclusion.  For details, you can consult my "4-Pillars Bootcamp" video correspondence course.

QMDJ Feng Shui versus QMDJ Divination Feng Shui

QMDJ becomes popular since 2005.  A QMDJ chart has over 50 data points and 6+ dimensions.  It can virtually replace many Chinese metaphysical methods.  The disadvantage is: QMDJ is not easy to master with numerous formula and combinations, not to mention the steep costs associated with learning it.

Like any "popular" method, people tend to use QMDJ as the "Swiss army knife" and try to do everything with it-- whether it is an "overkill" or appropriate or not.  You don't need to learn complicated QMDJ system when a simple and easy to learn Yi-jing or Plum-flower divination is suffice.  One does not need a cannon to kill a fly.

In this post, I will limit the discussion on QMDJ Feng Shui (QMDJ-FS) and QMDJ Divination Feng Shui (QMDJ-DFS).

Both QMDJ-FS and QMDJ-DFS are based on QMDJ charts though their total number reference charts are different.  A table below would highlight their differences in a flash:

EZ QMDJ Feng Shui is based on house/door-facing

In summary, a QMDJ-FS practitioner must go on-site to measure the house and door-facing to derive the appropriate house QMDJ chart.  Then he explains the Feng Shui conditions of the house in terms of the data shown in the 9-palaces of the chart.  Other than incorrect measurement, the results are replicable by another QMDJ-FS practitioner using the same method.

On the other hand, a QMDJ-DFS practitioner may use the hour chart when the consultation happens OR the birthday hour chart of the client.  Another QMDJ-DFS practitioner is unlikely to replicate the result if using hour chart other than client's birth chart.

People are pretty mobile in modern societies, especially young people.  My twenty+ years old son has moved 5+ times in the last 6 years.  Could a QMDJ-DFS practitioner use the client's birth hour again and again when he moves?  Would an on-site measurement is more appropriate?

Assuming a QMDJ-DFS practitioner gets 6 Feng Shui jobs in 3 months.  What is the probability of him getting all 6 jobs "right" or done correctly?  What is the probability of another QMDJ-DFS practitioner replicating these jobs with identical results?  The probability will be much less than hitting the 6-numbers Powerball or Lotto jackpot with 60 balls because here we have 1080 balls (charts)!

"Ken, are you in heaven or .... hell now?  The title looks like an obituary."

Don't worry, a psychic had told me that I probably will live another 30 years to pay my dues back to the universe.

The posts in this blog are my articles written between year 2000 to 2016 (now).  Articles written before 2008 were posted on various online Chinese metaphysics forums.   I have created this blog and moved all my old articles here in late 2007.

This is the 400th post!

I have not checked the statistics of this blog until this year and found some interesting phenomena.  For example, I found readers in different countries seem to take turns to "flash" my blog, like in the last few days, Russian readers account for over 80% of the daily readership.  A few days later, it may be Malaysian or Indonesian readers to dominate the readership.

Over 60% of readers are from United States.  The next two dominant groups are from Singapore and Malaysia.  Below are the top 10 countries reading this blog in the last 10 years:

However, there is NO correlation to sales figure to the top 10 countries.  In fact, United State readers account for less than 5% of my sales even they contribute over 60% of the clicks.  Yet Indonesian readers have bought a significant percentage of my courses with much fewer clicks.  Gross national income is a poor predictor of sales for Chinese metaphysics products.

Now I can also predict if a post will "earn" pageviews fast even before posting.   The trick is to put the magic word "SECRET" in the blog title.  It is the same trick I use in live seminars to wake up sleeping students by announcing "lineage secret".

Self-penalty according to Blindman Bazi

Penalty topic is one of the most read in this blog.  Below is how Blindman Bazi School 盲师 perspective on self-penalty.

The implicit meanings of self-penalty 自刑 are:

• feeling of being trapped or alienation
• getting upset for nothing 庸人自扰
• self-inflicted pain-- either physical, emotional or financial
• indecision or lacking direction or belief in life
• individual or familial stagnation
• sickness, accident or disaster

Classic self-penalty categories:

• Hai-hai 亥亥:
  hai is water; hurt by water (suicide by drowning) or liquid (alcoholism or drug abuse)
• You-you 酉酉:
  you is metal; hurt by sharp metallic objects like cutting one's own veins
• Wu-wu 午午:
  wu is fire; hurt by fire like suicide with burning coal in an enclosed area
• Chen-chen 辰辰:
  chen is earth; hurt by earth like suicide by jumping off a building

But Blindman School also feels that Shen-shen 申申, Yin-yin 寅寅 and Si-si 巳巳 could also be self-penalties. 

SELF-PENALTY TYPES AND EFFECTS
1. Self-penalty exists in natal chart: 
Stands for the chart-owner (daymaster) feels trapped, indecisive, marrying late, physically weak with chronic illness throughout his life.  Serious cases would be the daymaster will not succeed in any endeavor in life.

2. Self-penalty formed with 10-year-luck period:
Means the daymaster has more failures than successes during this 10-years period.  He also feels trapped or depressed with conflict with his family.

3. Self-penalty formed with annual-luck period:
Stands for stagnation and blockage within the year.  Daymaster is indecisive and depressed.  There may be signs of losing wealth, sickness and accident.

4. Self-penalty formed with current month: 
Stands for obstacles and blockages within the month.  There may be signs of losing wealth, sickness and accident.

A million or just 5 ways to die?

The movie "A million ways to die in the west" was shown in 2014.  But Chinese metaphysics likes to keep things simple (albeit sometimes) and reduces the million ways to 5 ways.  That is, it groups different ways of death and injuries in terms of 5-elements-- wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

Below is taken from the reference manual of my upcoming course, "Applied Bazi:  Sickness Forecasting and Management".  It also shows the likely cause of the death, injury and potential illness in terms of certain excessive element in one's Bazi chart-- all in a few sentences!  This is typical of all my course manuals for rapid transfer of knowledge to the students.


EXTERNAL INJURIES AND DEATHS IN TERMS OF 5-ELEMENTS

Hurt by wood element  (excess wood in 4P)

-- hanging (suicide), beaten by stick, stricken by thunder, crushed by falling tree and injury due to "being sandwiched" in-between two objects

Hurt by fire element  (excess fire in 4P)

-- fire disaster, burnt (touching a hot object), burned by fire, eye sickness, heart and blood problems and vomiting blood

Hurt by earth element  (excess earth in 4P)

-- earthquake, falling rocks, caving-in, mining disaster, collapsing mountain/ building and falling down from mountain

Hurt by metal element  (excess metal in 4P)

-- traffic accident, injury by metal objects (knife, sword, etc.) and surgery,

Hurt by water element  (excess water in 4P)

-- drowning, boating accident, suicide by drowning, blood diseases and flooding

There are some methods to reduce the likelihood or severity of these hurtful events as shown in my "Destiny and Luck Management with Bazi" courses.

Beating Slot Machine with Imperial QMDJ-- Part 2

Note:  A few years ago, an engineering professor Smart (not real name) had purchased "Professional Imperial QMDJ" course from me.  Within a few days, he had used the Imperial QMDJ method to try his luck in a local casino.  He had just played slot machines which requires little or no skill. The email correspondence below are the reports of his casino adventure.  All the names and identifying items are changed.  Below is the continuation from previous blog post-- email from Professor Smart a few days after the previous ones.

Dear Ken,

Another good news.  this is the situation:

Today morning (Saturday, 10 August 2013, Wu-Shen Day chart #585, at 9.15 am Ding-Si Hour chart #774), I entered casino towards Southeast direction where xxxx is at the SE on day chart.  Before entering, I waited for 45 minutes outside casino at the area of Northwest (opposite Southeast).  I won USD 1800 including two MINI JACKPOTS at USD 3xx-4xx each).  

****note:   I notice that the winning is about the end of the Ding-Si hour.  Is it because the element of hour is YIN?

****note: The quick winning, is this because of YANG element of the lucky hour?

This afternoon, I will play again at 5-7 pm same SE direction (has xxxx at hour chart on SE direction).

I have not shown my answers to Smart's questions here.  He also had a loss during one of his trips to casino and we had discussed the possible reasons for the loss.  Also I have not listed an important ingredient in the casino beating formula here.  I have not told Smart but he has figured it out himself.  In fact, he had done numerous tests and integrated "Destiny and Luck with Bazi" methods into his winning formula.  I have summarized that formula in one paragraph in the "Professional Imperial QMDJ" discussion list.  If you are observant and search this blog archive, you may figure out this "missing ingredient" easily. 

I do not want to promote Imperial QMDJ or any metaphysics method as a speculative or gambling tool.  There are other factors that control one's wealth attainment capability which are beyond control.

Besides praying for rain and beating the casino, there are many other practical applications of "Imperial QMDJ", like passing exams, interviews, sales quota, collecting debts, litigation and the like.  It is one of the most practical courses in my inventory.

I applied your QMDJ method.  

Today 9 August, I sit outside on the west side of casino for one hour. Then at 11:20 am, I walked towards east direction entering casino.  I chose the east corner machine.  I played slot machine only 30 credits per spin.  One credit is usd 0.05.   Within only five minutes, I got jackpot usd 3000. :-)

Interesting! It has never been very easy to win slot machine.

You have your course paid for already!

In the early 90's, I had published a CD-ROM teaching people how to play slot machines with conventional gambling strategy and software.  It did not work too well.

Slot machine has the worst odds for winning.  Blackjack is better.

When applying QMDJ in casino gambling, the first 5- 10 minutes is the best time to win.  Walk away when you win something meaningful and don't be greedy.   Then wait for next hour and recharge your QM energy.

Most casinos has voodoo or black magic preventing gamblers winning, esp. those in Asia (and also the native American run casinos in USA).  It seems the "fresh" QM energy at the beginning can crack these black magic temporarily.
